BR122 is a bridge over a small river and is visible from the car park behind the Queens Hotel in Blaenau Ffestiniog. This bridge still sees trains go over it when locomotives need to run around a train to return to Llandudno Junction. The DMU trains do not go as far as this bridge hence why it often appears rusty.
