The station is currently in private hands and as such any use of the station for future projects will have to be with their agreement.
It is a long term goal of the trust to return the station to its original role of serving the local area and to make the signal box operational. The signal box was never operational for the life of the line and the goods yard was instead controlled by a ground frame in the yard.
