Details of what is proposed

The military sidings are level in this view towards the station, the gradient leading into the station is evident by how low the main line is to left of the photograph
A GWR 43XX 2-6-0 has arrived at Trawsfyndd Military station with a train of British 6 inch 26 CWT Howitzer artillery pieces. The engine would have to travel tender first back to Bala to turn should it be required to return for its train otherwise the returning loco would have to travel tender first all the way to Trawsfyndd to collect the train when reloading has finished after their use on the range. The fence alongside the main line can be seen to the right.
The military camp platforms in 1966. The power station can be glimpsed behind the field above the buildings
A view of Trawsfynydd Lake with the Military platforms in the foreground. A lone wagon with a load of a single gun and limber stands in the loading siding.
