Some members of the Trust are getting together to build a model of Llan Ffestiniog Station as the Trust hopes to recreate it in the future. The model gives the Trust the opportunity to show how its plans will blend into the local environment as well as to allay any concerns or fears of local through a visual representation of what will happen on site.
To date three of the ultimate 6 boards for the layout have been created and the remaining 3 boards and legs will be completed by the end of August 2022 giving a firm basis for the actual layout building to begin. The boards have had to be designed with a drop in them to allow for inclusion of the slopes at llan Ffestiniog as well as the rail over bridge to the southern side of the station site.
